Chesnut Engineering was founded in 1973 by Dick Chesnut and quickly turned to specializing in narrow and mid web gravure and combination presses. Today Chesnut presses are found throughout the world producing high quality printed products for many industries including food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.  Among some Chesnut “firsts” are found:

  • The first 150 press was sold to print tamper proof neck bands, first used on Tylenol
  • The first pressure sensitive U.S. Postage Stamps were printed on a Chesnut 150
  • The first 15 color scratch off lottery tickets were produced on Chesnut Presses.
