New Affordable Press Line - COMPACT Series

Fairfield, NJ, May 2, 2002 - Chesnut Engineering announces the availability of a new press - the COMPACT Series Narrow Web Flexo/Gravure Press. Based on the company's narrow web 150 Press, the COMPACT Press was developed for short run production and laboratory testing of light materials, including paper, light paperboard, films such as OPP, PVC and polyester, flexible packaging and aluminum foil.

The new press line features a unitized design for easy installation in limited spaces. Limited crewing of 1 to 2 persons is all that is required. Printing may be done either rotogravure or rotogravure in combination with flexo.The press features a computerized drive and control system. Lightweight sleeve engravings are utilized. Best of all, due to the COMPACT's unique design, prices for a complete press range up to 30% less, making it the most affordable of the 150 Series.
